Join us behind the scenes of a breathtaking Tasmania wedding shoot where creativity, talent, and passion intertwine to create pure magic. Led by Bekk from Mollie & Mae, a rising star in wedding styling and planning, and partnered with the skilled photographer Rheanna Lee, this duo set out to showcase the beauty of Tasmania’s North West coast.
The Birth of Mollie & Mae: A Dream Realized
For Bekk, the journey began with a dream of launching her own wedding planning and styling venture, Mollie & Mae. After a year of dedicated planning, her vision came to life. Not only did she aim to provide exceptional services, but also to spotlight the abundant talent of Tasmania’s North West coast.
A Perfect Partnership: Bekk and Rheanna
The collaboration between Bekk and Rheanna was serendipitous. Both eager to shake up the local wedding scene, they combined fresh styling perspectives with keen photography skills. United by their love for Tasmania’s landscape, their partnership set the stage for something extraordinary.
The Joy and Challenge of Planning
Bekk and Rheanna dedicated a full day to planning. “We collaborated our canva account and spent a full day on facetime together building our mood boards and researching ideas, and let me tell you we had SOOO much fun!” This digital collage of textures, colors, and styles became the shoot’s blueprint for success!
Crafting Seven Unique Looks
Coordinating schedules proved to be one of the more significant challenges in planning the Tasmania wedding shoot. With a diverse group of vendors involved, aligning everyone’s availability was no small feat. The excitement and willingness to participate were there, but the reality of managing multiple calendars required flexibility and adaptability. Bekk and Rheanna ultimately deciding to extend the shoot across two days to accommodate everyone. This decision, while logistically complex, opened the door for more creativity and variety in the styled shoot. This also allowed for a more relaxed atmosphere where vendors could connect and collaborate, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. In the end, the scheduling challenges were a blessing in disguise, leading to an even richer and more diverse showcase of talent.
Building Strong Relationships
The shoot not only produced stunning visuals but also fostered strong connections among local vendors. This camaraderie sets the stage for future collaborations, showcasing Tasmania’s bright future in weddings.
